As of yesterday we've been taking care of our neighbors blind cat Vainilla (vanilla in English, pronounced vah-nee-ah) while they're on vacation in the Dominican Republic. I've never really been a cat kinda guy up until recently. It doesn't really help that I'm totally allergic to them... but I think cats have way more loyalty then a dog and they're so much more independent and less maintenance. All three of those characteristics are a home run in my book. I haven't decided if I want a dog or a cat when I move out... but I'm leaning more towards a cat. Who knows though. I just love when Vainilla just comes to hangout whenever my brother and I are working on our cars and she'll come over to say hi in the morning.
